My name is Tristan Nelson and I'm a 19-year-old student graphic designer and photographer. I was born January 22nd, 1998 in Phoenix, Arizona. I currently live in the state of Minnesota, which is where I've grown up most of my life.
So basically my whole childhood revolved around two things, sports and video games. It wasn't till age sixteen (2014) that I first discovered my passion for graphic design and photography. They both started out as just fun hobbies that occurred in between school and sports, but they quickly went from small hobbies to my dream careers. I also started a YouTube channel around the same time I began my new hobbies. With the channel I create a wide range of graphic design and music content. The channel has grown to over 43,000 subscribers and 4,000,000 video views. The channel has helped tremendously with getting me clients for freelance work.
When I graduated from high school (2016) I decided doing freelance my whole career isn't something I want to do, or at least do at the start of my professional career. So I'm now attending a small community college here in Minnesota and will be for the next year finishing an associate degree in Communication Art & Design. After college in Minnesota I'm moving to Santa Monica, California and attending another college to get an associate degree in Photography.
After I'm all done with college I will be working on getting my dream job, which is currently to be a photographer that works in a variety of fields (portrait, fashion, sports, concerts, travel, etc). Then eventually I would like to have my own studio in Los Angeles where I can do freelance work again.
